Ed Marchessault is a physical therapist and founder of In Your Home Physical Therapy, LLC. In 2011, he was the first physical therapist in Carbon County to bring outpatient physical therapy services exclusively to seniors in their home. Ed has presented to a number of senior community homes, senior centers, and medical professionals including primary care and specialists, on the prevalence of balance disorders and how to reduce the risk for falls in the elderly. Ed is considered by many in the medical profession to be the local expert on balance and gait rehabilitation for the elderly. When he isn’t treating patients, Ed spends his time with his 2 kids and volunteers as a youth soccer and basketball coach for the Lehighton Area School District.
